I have been a full time Massage Therapist since 1991. I have a passion for the benefit and effects that massage therapy can have for any individual. That inspiration has driven me to continually learn and improve on my knowledge and skills so that I am a more effective Massage Therapist. Having been a massage therapy instructor over the past 10 years has kept me current and up to date with all of the new advancements in the profession.

I discovered that there was a need for more people to become trained in manual lymph drainage in order to provide care for those that had conditions that could not be resolved with massage therapy. For this reason I chose to obtain training and a full certification in the Vodder method of Manual Lymph Drainage and Combined Decongestive Therapy.

I am a registered MTAA, CMTO Massage Therapist and Vodder Certified MLD/CDT Therapist

Because of my extensive experience and expertise, I was honored and asked to speak at the 2011 Aviation Conference in Montreal, Quebec regarding postural dysfunction, re-alignment and prevention for job related issues involving pilots, aviation technicians and flight attendants.

I have worked with high level athletes and with those suffering from cancer and those on palliative care. I have provided massage therapy in birthing rooms, at sporting events and at the World Police and Fire Games. I work collaboratively and refer to Chiropractors, Physiotherapists, Osteopaths, Acupuncturists, Naturopaths and Nutritionist’s to provide a full health care team for my clients.

I provide self-care plans to my clients that are both comprehensive and effective for obtaining short and long gains. This allows my clients to manage their own needs to control and improve their quality of life.

I’m a strong believer in maintaining a healthy lifestyle in order to better the mind, body and soul. Health and wellness starts with a positive mindset and some sort of physical activity no matter how little. I have 26 years as a certified fitness instructor in the field of Step, Hi/Low aerobics, ball exercises, strength, weight, resistance training, pregnancy fitness, personal training, weight loss and nutrition and yoga which has been extremely helpful for me when I am suggesting remedial exercises and stretches for my clients.

I was a registered Massage Therapist in the province of Ontario and a member of the CMTO. I have recently moved to Alberta and am now a member of the MTAA. I am looking forward to continuing my practice and being able to provide my massage therapy services to those in need.

I have extensive training in:

  • Manual Lymph Drainage
